I did my coastal skipper tidal with Trafalgar sailing and would recommend them. It's a family run business run by Peter and daughter Cathy.

Peter was my instrustor for the week and he is great ! Although he does keep you on your toes !

During my week we spent a couple of days in gib bay, then went up the coast of spain and to Ceuta (spell?)

As above check out the website...

Re: the above I also did my Day Skipper with Trafalgar Sailing in May 2 yrs ago. Cathy is a diamond at organising and nothing is/was too much trouble. Fergus the skipper is the most patient chilled out instructor I have ever met (although looking at the website I see he has left) - and Tarik Lady (a Gib'Sea 402 if memory serves) was an excellent boat to sail on.

We did all that everyone else has mentioned, sailed up the coast to Estepona - across the Straits to Ceuta (night sail, stars/dolphins etc). We had a great time, the bars/restaurants are great in Spain and I pickled my liver most evenings with the other crew!

Worth every penny! Gib is a little dodgy, but very cheap for fags and booze - and also very interesting if you've never visited.
