Re: Learner & Boat Politics - Fuel charges!!

Right, I agree with Learner, we should be lobbying parliament. WHY can those boats with diesel engines use RED diesel (i.e. exempt from all sorts of taxes) and yet we poor PETROL boaters have to pay full whack??? What's sauce for the goose etc etc.
WHY can we not have tax exempt petrol????

Revolution

I'm bored with dull lobbying and walking round streets, first getting crapped on by the pigeions in Trafalgar square, then by govt. Much better to have a proper revolution, imho, and the righttime for this will be next week, when the army is out putting fires out and the fireman are all loitering around. Start a few cheap fires in old factories to keepem all busy, then nip down whitehall and the Mall in a load of red trucks.

Oh please PLEASE dont get Learner going again..........
You know very well that if you kick up enough fuss HMG will harmonise diesel and petrol and I'd bet you a ride in Forbsie's Project to a night out wiv Paulineb that it would be by raising the cost of diesel...........so just shutit......ok?

Totally agreed decision made. Which day will we have the revolution... you guys takeout Whitehall and parliamnet by about 4 o'clock then after that me and Colin Scott can go and knock over the Prince of Wales and you can all comeand join us for free beer.

So : Revolution plan so far. Date TBA
1) TCM leads mob to do Whitehall and finish job Guido Fawkes started
2) CCS49 and I going to get smashed and leer at theatre babes..

anyone else gonna join the resolution?

Great Idea

, but do you think we should get him some platform heels so that he's the same size?

Also, has anyone got a boat ? Trainee Pirates?

Need cash if this revolution is going to work, need sea-borne raid taking over The London Eye to generate income..

Welcome to the forum.

I wouldn't get to bothered about it if I were you. Two months into boating with a Rinky dink kitted with Twin Volvo V6/Duo props - Nah they will go bang before the end of the season and you can repower with a pair of nice "cheap to run" diesels. That or you will discover that the VE 267 isn't what you need and you'll be looking for a new boat with diesel power higher on the priority list. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Now stop mentioning that we use red will you - can we all please try to keep a low profile.

Petrol boat

If somebody does not buy petrol boats. the posters hereabouts will not have anybody to take the P*** out off and have a larf at when you go to fill up.
It also enables us to feel superior when in locks etc when we start monster rumble type diesel and you try to start your sad little phut phut cough one step up from lawn mower petrol engine.Makes all the extra thousands buying and maintaining diesels nearly(but not quite)worthwhile.

And here is the weekend weather..

Re: EARS

It wenr me driftin. Bugger said I had big ears!
Anyway back to the plot.

Well there does not seem to be any more volunteers so I suppose theres F A we can do about it. Harry will just have to manage on his own. Dont worry. Whats going to happen is Harry is going to Seduce all the fillys with his secret weapon his DD. Get them on our side, then we can gallop through London at 30 miles an hour. Dont forget. The army is tied up so are the fire men. That only leaves the police to fox and there stuck in the traffic jams.

'How many MPs have deisel boats? we should be safe.'

An excellent observation, must be loads of them Members of Parliamnets with diesel boats, otherwise price of RED would have gone up ages ago....

I reckon we need a flotilla of MTBs to take control of Thames..

'And 'Arry's taking control of streets and I'm gettiing free beer in with CCS49........
