'RAN' is for sale

Not a bad boat, had a lot of recent upgrades and they cleaned it up nicely for sale. That is until you take a close look and notice this:

The teak deck appears to be riveted to the aluminium deck plates. An aging glued teak deck is bad enough. A screwed one is truly a thing of evil. But one that leaves you with hundreds of holes to weld shut individually?

That deck certainly does look very off-putting! I am baffled - a non slip painted deck would be so much easier, effective and look better as well.

They also mention "She is offered for 79.000 US dollar or highest bidder, EU VAT paid."
But this is in Mexico, and I think that if a new owner buys her there, and then sails her back to Europe, wouldn't she be liable for VAT all over again?

That depend how long she been out of the EU. Plus if she been sold out of the EU in reality yes VSA is due again once in the EU .
But the fact is many go off for years and return back without any problems

My only connection is as an avid fan of their Youtube channel.
I have been following them for years, one of the best sailing channels there.

Babies change everything. I have been watching them from the start. Pretty relaxed sailing. We also watch Sv Delos which is also on borrowed time I guess as they also are with child. Barry Perrin's is a good watch, he just 'drifted' across the Pacific.
