We were directed to moor alongside "Fat Bottom Lady" in Yarmouth once.

Crew and I chickened out of called to woman sat in cockpit that we were coming alongside and eventually - "Er, excuse me.."

SHe later said her husband was given the task of calling on the VHF as she was fed up with it.

ALso remember coastguard had a little fun with a boat called "Don't Panic" who had some sort of problem.

If one were a Beatles fan then " Help me if you can" would be fairly useful

I did call our yacht club for a radio check once when my wife was on bridge duty
I put on a different accent & gave my boat name as " I want sex"
However, she is too long in the tooth for that & she replied " station calling " etc
Still--anything is worth a try !!!
