Better to have and not need than need and not have.
There is a danger in becoming over reliant on the thruster.
I have one. It came with the boat. I use it whenever I feel the need for extra tight turning. It’s great and I couldn’t care less what anyone else thinks about it. I’d much rather use it than damage someone’s gelcoat.
My Netflix subscription has lapsed - can't see it!If only they’d had a bowthruster…

Wasn't Titanic was it?That may be as well - I am on a self isolatory trawl through the outer reaches of the streaming services - don’t think I’ll be sending any “wish you were here” cards but there are wondrous things out there for those of a curious disposition.
Absolutely!Have what you want, it's your boat and your wallet. My only criticism would be the noise they make on a tranquil warm summer afternoon, it sometimes sounds like road works in the marina with all the whirring
No - tragic in an entirely different way - and sort of marvellous.Wasn't Titanic was it?
(I'm not completely streamless, but since I have Prime and wasn't watching either much, Netflix got a temporary heave ho).
In the same way that most people with sailing boats have become 'over-reliant' on having engines?![]()
