Preveza to Messolonghi coach

Hi everybody, has anyone undertaken this journey before? How do we book the coach? We will be landing at Preveza on a Sunday. Will that be a problem?

I suspect it would be surprising if there was coordination between the bus service and flights in. I would reckon on a taxi and hope I am wrong.

Did Preveza to Patra last year and the bus goes right past Messolonghi. Whether it's an official stop I couldn't say. It didn't stop there when I was on it. Two buses a day stop at Aktio airport.
The bus stops just before the Rio-Antinio bridge 35km from Messo so a taxi from there would be another option.
I just turned up at the bus station and bought an allocated seat but it was full - the last person on had to sit on the floor.

Thanks everyone who replied to this thread. We don't land at Preveza until 12:35 Too late for the 12:20 coach from the airport. Looks like we will have to get a taxi to Preveza bus station, aiming for the 13:00 departure or failing that, the 17:30 departure. I suspect a taxi all the way to Messolonghi Marina will be mega expensive!

Work on a minimum of 1 euro per kilometre, unless you can negotiate a cheaper rate. from the airport to messi is around 120 kilometres ish.
