Only problem I see for me in setting up a Spanish account is that my Caixa Geral Multibank debit card does not allow on-line purchases although Brisa do debit my bank account with it for motorway tolls. May try and set an account up and see what happens. Looks like in future I may be forced to have a Euro credit card as well for on-line Euro purchases but that will be an extra bank charge

We've been dealing with Ayamar at Ayamonte for many years, also a couple of couple of more commercial chandlers in Isla Christina but their names escape me at the moment.

Did you need a Spanish mailing address to set up a Spanish Amazon account?

No I just entered my Portuguese address.

In France I use amazon.fr logging in with my usual uk account login & then set up a new delivery address to the amazon lockers at my nearby supermarket.

Works fine in France & makes things easier as all charged to my normal payment method. The locker system is great when away.

Suggest checking for local lockers.
