Long-Covid has left me with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and I need to look into portable CPAC devices for sailing. Does anyone have experiences and recommendations?

Respiratory Liason Nurse? That's who I would ask in Glasgow, may not be relevant in Chichester (!)

Who do you phone about your current (home) machine?

I use my home one on board with little 300w inverter. I did have one originally which had 12v supply but last year the clinic updated model which has power adapter. They use very little power

I don't have a machine yet - I'm just starting down the assessment road but wanting to think ahead.

Not sure how that would work, my CPAC machine also monitors air pressure and boost‘s when I stop breathing, which without can be 20/30 times an hour from when I did my overnight study. Having somthing in my mouth would be very off putting. i don’t snore much but the loud gasps scare the hell out of my wife when I snooze without my CPAC on. With it on very few events from the data the machine logs.

The Sleepcube range made by DeVilbiss Healthcare will operate on 12V DC and on any AC between 100V and 240V so you can use it at home and on the boat. The air pump itself consumes about 0.5A (12V). The humidifier cannot be operated on 12V but the air pump can be used without the humidifier.
I have had one for five years and it has been reliable.

I had similar originally but this was replaced by the clinic when they change supplier, if it’s supplied by NHS you may not have a choice., I’ve never needed the humidifier option

That certainly sounds like the kind of thing.
