I take the plotter off the boat when not using it.
Is it possible to rig it up on the bench at home and play without risk of damage and how would you go about it
Thanks in advance

Ensuring you have the correct power supply then practice as much as you like. Practice makes perfect then you can answer all our questions later /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

you would require a power cable, mounting bracket and a power supply, i dont think that you need an antenna and you shold not do any damage without the antenna.

What make is it?The Garmins have a 'practice' mode, where you can input speeds etc, and it will navigate even though you are stationary. added advantage that you don't need an aerial. other makes might have practice mode too
