It would help for a start if you can identify which country you are in.
Are you interested in purchasing this particular boat?
I will hazard a guess that it might be American - are you in the USA?
Hi thanks for the reply. Apologies for the lack of info, I’m new to all this. I’m based in the uk, yes Im interested in buying a boat and particularly like the look of this model as it’s small but looks like it has good head room. I’d like to use it for fishing and take it on canals and rivers. This boat I believe is in Holland and is owned by a carp fisherman I have sent him message but had no reply. Hope the extra info helps thanks again.

Do you have a beam restriction on the canals and river that you intend to use your boat on?

If it is the tri-cathedral hull shape that is the main appeal re room, then this boat might be of interest, or would she be too big?
Her beam is 8'.

Alternatively, maybe something like this?

This boat does not have a tri-cathedral hull, but she is still very full in the forward section -

You won't be able to buy a boat in Holland and bring it to the UK.

That type of boat is only suitable for use on canals as it is unstable with excess height in relation to its draft and overall size. You do not need a boat for fishing on canals or on most of our rivers. You may need a boat if you are fishing on larger expanses of water like lakes, reservoirs of the Scottish lochs. The double hull form like that boat is commonly used because they are spacious and stable - but not with that shed on top. Larger ones getting toward 20' often have a small wheel shelter and even a cabin as there is still enough space for fishing in the aft part of the boat.
