I am thinking how viable is this design for single crew operation to circumnavigate the world without any problems?

The yacht you show is around 25m rather than the 50m you require. Even at the 25 size and with every electronic/electrical aid available it is not a proposition for single handed sailing.

Where's the saloon? The steering position? Having to wander through the engine room to get from the food store to the "kitchen"? How do you keep the water in the bath? Where's the anchor chain kept? What's the deck layout?

11 is the saloon / dining room. There is a path with doors to engine room (its just another room). Water is drained after usage from bath. Anchor chain is probably kept in the bow area space in front of crew compartments. Ship an be sailed manually from on deck using the wheel or via the computer (using artificial intelligence) in room 4. Deck layout is in below picture.

Yis are all being very negative, someone even complained about the lack of stairs when the plan shows that Thrifty has everything he could possibly need down below, what is he going to need stairs for, he has a gym, and with a ten foot long treble bed in the master cabin he will get all the exercise he needs.

It has to be 50 meters to fit all the things. Why do you think 50m is not a proposition for single handed sailing?

There is nothing wrong about using multiple Optimist sails.
If spaced on deck at 2 metre intervals they would provide all the advantages of multiple slot effects.
Think also about reefing; it would be an elegantly simple affair of plucking out masts as required.

Well, we can see that you've wisely highlighted the number of cupboards available, and it's good to see that you've prioritised that in your design. The problem is that you're pushing the limits of how many one man can operate safely. Take a look at the IMOCA 60s, Volvo 65s and Maxi Multihulls all smaller than 50 metres - and no cupboards. These guys know what they're doing.

How do you keep the water in the bath when you are using it (and the boat tips)? Where are your water and fuel tanks? Do you have holding tanks for waste? Have you tried drawing this out from a side-on perspective? Are all the windows in the store rooms and engine room? Does the base of the mast go through the engine? How do you get from the deck to the spaces below deck? When standing at the wheel, where are your feet in relation to the navigation room and master bathroom?

Go for it, Thrifty!
Don't let the naysayers put you off, Check out Enigma, eighth largest sailing yacht in the world, formerly Club Mediterranee sailed successfully across the Atlantic.
You may however have to change your moniker to Spendthrift!
