Does anyone know where I can find plans of the boat show which I can print?

The Boat Show's own site just has a stupid flashy thing that is useless to print out from and our favourite YBW site doesn't appear to have any plans at all!!

David,

I think that the idea is that you buy a January 2005 issue of one of the IPC mags!

When are you going? If it's after tomorrow, I'll scan one and email it to you.

We're going sunday to buy some goodies that we can't get in Corfu.

Thanks Steve, but we are indeed going tomorrow.

Send me a PM if you would like a scan of the plan - if I manage to find one that is!

Its outrageous really that with a £14 entry fee the LBS doesn't provide a floor plan for visitors
They don't even have floor plan posters up with companies indexed to stand numbers, so you could find a company. The floor plans they have up are useless.
I don't know why the exhibitors & visitors don't kick up a fuss

I have never been to another show that doesn't make it easy to find companies, LBS seems to delight in making it difficult so you have to buy a guide.

At the very least they should have it on their web site

Another example of rip off Britain!

I did last year vigorously, bothe to BMF and their trade paper. Got a quote in the latter but no feedback. This year their web site is even worse...

Doubtless the poor attendance (after they've fudged the figures) will be blamed on the weather and the fire (A13/M25). To my mind most sensible peeps find out what's on before they go - and if they can't, then they don't go.

The BMF has already dumped the trade show (similar poor management) - LBS next (in time).

Not so long ago LBS at Earls Court was a buzz and worth a trip just for the buzz, now it's just a succession of stands with bored reps:

Only too right - why we should have to pay for the privilege of buying something is beyond me. Whatever next? Having to buy a ticket before you can get into Tesco? /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
