Pigeons and Solar panels

I'd have no problems with dealing with an excess of pigeons messing up my solar panels - apart from the barely half-serious one I mentioned above, but a more serious issue with shooting them is that it's illegal to allow pellets to go over the boundary of your property. Should a miss hurt someone, you'd be in deep doodoo.

Feral pigeons are vermin, there is no issue with killing them if they are causing damage to property including solar panels.
We have several trying to nest under our panels & its getting sorted very shortly. But you have to be careful & as said dont let pellets fly over your boundary, if it means you have to wait until you have a safe shot you wait.

Apart from issues with piles of sticks under the panels which could cause localised overheating the poxy things crap everywhere & are a health hazard, once you let them start nesting there soon you have flocks of them & it rapidly gets worse.
So ventilate them it is!
