Paint on epoxy?

So, just about finished painting my little ply mini cruiser. I have a lot of assorted paints, many for wood, but a lot for metal
Since it is epoxy glued and coated, what would using paints for steel or other substraits make any difference?

If you use a decent two part epoxy paint (yes you can brush it), you can put whatever you like over the top. Look at Kapki epoxy on Ebay. You can sometimes also buy epoxy primer in aerosol form, but make sure that there is a pull ring in the base to activate it. No pull ring and it is not the right stuff.
