End of May. A good weekend with interesting boats, bands and street food. I’ve been three times but not lately.

I tried to book berths for our club cruise last year, about 4 weeks in advance. We wanted 2 days the week before, then to go to Middleburg, then back to Ostend for the trip home, taking in 1-2 days of the festival. Simon would not let us have the festival days, as he said it was fully booked. I was taken ill so did not go. However, the club decided to go to Blankenburge instead.
Some members sustained so much damage the year before covid, when they had to leave their boats for a week due to bad weather, that few of them like ostend.
I opted not to leave my boat but sailed home
