right after new year we confirmed our order for the repair, with all new parts,
most of the parts have arrived at the workshop, the last missing part, the new engineblock should arrive last or next week (have to check)
it took all a bit longer than expected, delivery and transport via Zagreb, and issues with customs clearance in Montenegro...
As soon the re-assembling has started I'll post more updates,
and hopefully towards easter we will see some white smoke

Bart, looking good. At the risk of "Teaching Grandmother's..." I would personally stick bungs in any open orifice, especially turbo's, to eliminate the risk of foreign objects entering.

yes I think they will,
as they already did during the disassembling,
and now here,
in the first pic, yellow tape (approx middle of the pic)

Yes, I can see those, but nothing in the turbo's, unless I'm mistaken.

Good news Bart, nice to see the rebuilding underway. Once the masking up and respraying takes place, they will look and feel brand new again.

no interesting news so far,
I week ago i have seen the engine completely re-assembled, except for a missing injection pump, and injectors.
The injection pump has been send to a Bosh service center in Serbia, for a complete overhaul,
they have been wainting several weeks for a spare part. The pump was supposed to be ready last week,
but now they have problems to get the pump running perfectly (?)
I started stalking Ilko a few day's ago insisting for a update, but no more news yet

running very smooth,

we‘ve lost almost 2 months for rebuilding the Bosch injection pump in Serbia (official Bosch cirtified)
then that pump took two weeks to be send back to Montenegro (customs and papers and all that)
this week they did the final assembly on the engine, and today they could crank the rebuild engine
I’ll sleep a bit better now

today a few more tests and final assembly, and then spray painting
hopefully monday back in the boat
