Going places in straight lines, to schedule, without spilling your drink (or your guts), with lots of living space above and below decks, heating or air con as required, and no concerns about power usage??

I just don't see the appeal 🤔

After raggying around for 53 years, I've taken ownership of a Cranchi 40 Mediterranean today. It'll be rather different I think. Wish me luck!
Excellent boat so well put together and engineered. Have you found the dipstick for the fuel tank?
Had some great trips on them whilst commissioning/handovers Monaco, St Tropez and even a trip up the Grand Canal Venice.
Where are you going to berth?

The only dipstick on it will be me!
I live in West Mersea, so like my previous boats, this will too.
Thanks to you all for the encouragement guys
Sticky Fingers (Scala) this one has fender baskets so I won’t need to use the fuel tanks to store them, I hope. 😁😁😁

Quite seriously they did come with a calibrated dipstick and calibrated fuel gauge

Congrats on your new boat. Hope you have great fun with her. It's not the one with the turquoise blue heads is it? She does look lovely.

Here is tjbrace’s new boat! She was mine until Monday just gone. I absolutely adored this boat, the best boat I’ll likely ever own and I’ve had a boats for 36 years. Sadly a wife and teenage daughter who would rather do other things now meant she had to find a new home.
She could have found a more enthusiastic new owner though, and I wish tjbrace many happy times on her.

That’s a bit rude.
