Great work G, the vinyl dye/paint-like-product works well, I’ve heard good success with re-coating inflatable dinghies, and saloon window sunshade covers, fully flexible so the covers can be rolled up. Always select the gloss option so it can be washed/scrubbed easily.

When applying this, go for the best respirator you can find, this stuff is potent!

Amazing work And skills. Seems like you will tackle anything. Are you all self taught and I was wondering what you do for a living with such skills

Are the engines in yet? When are you going to stop faffing and float it? We are down a pirate, he's hiding his boat this season to stop the scrappies drooling.

An annoying day today. Having a few nmea issues with the plotter and unknown sentences. I’ll keep digging.

engine bay is completely ready for engines on the 6th (didn’t bother with photos but elbows and new exhaust bellows fitted etc…

Dash is all but finished. All the switches work…bar the horn but can’t be that complex to sort. The eagle eyed my spot new coloured lenses for the edc buttons! The dash is now official full!

Who knew a Sunseeker did a grey edition! ???

So….how do you cover massive holes in a curved part of the dash that’s right in one’s eyeline? Make a cool curved panel to cover the issue and be informative!

First of the dyed upholstery panels gone back in. Don’t blame me for the fitting….that’s how they came. Another job on the list 6212E355-5761-40C3-BE60-1025D88E408D.jpeg

@vas Need your help!

I can’t get NMEA 0183 to talk to my raymarine c70 plotter for love nor money.

I’ve got a quark elec a027 that can send gps and ais over 0183. After some messing today…the p.otter would only pick stuff up at 9600 baud rate. 4800 did nothing. Any thoughts on the attached?

I can make sense of the buffer lines

In other news…..been hammering it today!

Dash finished and fully wired up. Even did some cleaning up! Only bummer is the original vhf will transmit but not receive ??? I’m sure it was working before. I was however planning on a new windlass but I got it at least make an effort. Pulls in but won’t lower the anchor. Sounds like it’s spinning but much clicking. I’ll strip it to see what’s what.
