Not a problem really. You'll be able to put the boat up for sale. Then you can go down a lot more often on the basis you're getting the boat ready to sale. In this climate it probably won't sell so you will have gained browny points for little risk.
Had similar from SWMBO last year and did as Talulah has suggested. I put boat on market for what I knew was a silly (high) price and didn't sell. Now she has agreed that as I have the boat I might as well use it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
BTW since then I have decided to sail in the JAC 2012 so maybe she is hoping for the life assurance policy pay out if things go amiss!
I've taken up sailing in the hope of an ultimatum from the wife! Just need to find someone to sail with 3 or 4 days a week and I'll be well on the way... Or maybe a round the world trip! anyone need a deck hand? lol
Thanks for all your advice.
I think I will try Tululahs suggestion of spending ages getting her ready for market (the boat) and attach a high asking price.
If someone does make me an offer I can't refuse, I'll sell the boat and run off with that blonde I've got my eye on!
