A wee photo to cheer up my UK friends at start of winter.
Sailing last Sunday on Swan River. Son on foredeck does spin pole etc very agile compared to me. Nice day last day of spring. Next day official temp hit 39 a record for first day of summer. Boat went really well in the short race although broke spin pole later in the race. My fault a bad repair. Yes old spinnaker has many repairs.
Happy Christmas to all on this forum ol'will (photo Sam James)

Ha! Who needs all that sunshine and heat?
Here in UK we've got short days, dark at 3.30, cold and drizzle and everything is grey and damp. Tomorrow promises 36 knots and heavy rain.
We are so blessed.

We’re certainly blessed not to have forest fires. My daughter is in Perth currently, looks like a visit may be in order, but not til Aussie autumn.
