If you are attracted to an SP cruiser and not unduly concerned at length then a Moody 45DS would be another option to view with a big engine , inside controls and more akin internally to a mobo maybe . Built by Hanse and offers plenty of comfort in a package that might appeal in terms of space and layout.
I would suggest the Moody Eclipse 43. My parents had one and it had internal steering, so similar to a mobo with inside/outside steering. They had a shallow keel and bow thruster. With an ensuite forward master cabin, a twin midship cabin and a double aft cabin. Another loo compartment is a midships. The saloon is raised with almost all round vision. It had a large engine and they added a generator for 240V. Sailing was easy as the mainsail was furling, as was the genoa. Sailing wise it was a reasonable boat in most conditions, slightly sluggish in light airs, but went light a train in heavy airs with a steady motion. The only problem was there were only a small number built, so finding one would be difficult.
