Re: ORDER DOCKET

I like the mouse as its simple and not propulsion specific! Need a good gin pennant - please can I have one with an olive.

Now for a very long thread on flag etiquette - can a raggie fly a MoBo pennant...?

Re: Subliminal advertising

It's a pre-requisite of being on this forum, half the members are certifiable! In fact more than half! But you have to watch it when they get serious, quite a few high end business types and a lot of your customers, methinks! as you've already found out, no doubt!!

Re: Subliminal advertising

Hell. Must be the longest thread ever. Now just to throw a spanner in the works. Theres some ready made sample flags coming and they've got a fringe round them. Just need embroidering. So I need to look at those. My bod has machines with about 20 bobbins of coloured thread on them so colour no problem. But on Tonys design only about £40 for setting up.
Hang about a bit and I'll be back.

Re: Flag In Production

Flag is polly cotton 9 x 12inch Piped round the edges in gold I think. Piece of string through and for good or bad it's the mouse cos my responce both here and PM is overwelming, to just get on with it. Proto ready next week at massive cost to myself. So now depends how many we want, to cover the costs and leave hopefully something for RNLI or who ever.
The other thing is as a raggie pointed out, it's not sexist, I mean it will do for them as well. So when in production I could do with some one with clout on the raggy and PBO sites to do the repping. I dont go there much so need some one famous!! Suggested cost is £12

Re: ***HOW TO ORDER***

1 Send hlb(= haydn) a PM saying orlright I'll have one.

2. hlb returns a little pm to you saying oright send cheque to (his address details). It's first come first served at the point the cheque turning up. So prps put it in a red envelope in handwriting that looks nice so he'll open yours first.

3. Your cheque MUST HAVE your postal actual address on the back and your poster name. This way hlb does all the work and not ... er I mean this way hlb's wife Tutt can just send the stuff off without fiddling on the puter seeing who's what.

4. Later, the wotsit burgee turns up at your house. Nobody cept haydn knows where all the burgees are, and he'll have lots anyway. And he's in Altrincham or somewhere miles away anyway.

5. If he hasn't enuf burgees yerl have to wait for some more to be made, depending on how it goes. Or he'll rip the cheque up so t'wont cost you anything and v decent chap anyway.

Have you got that Haydn? hlb is to keep us posted as to how it's all going.

Is everyone waiting for the 100??

No-ones posted on here for best part of an hour. My guess is you've all got your posts ready just waiting to be the 100th and you keep popping back to see if it's moved up to 99 yet so you can post it?

Right or wrong?

You sad lot. Even Barry's still at work at 10 to 7 waiting for the 99 to come up so he can post. Betcha.

But we've got the longest post ever anyway so don't matter does it?

So back to the plot. The burgee.

I'm in for one no matter what it looks like 'cos no-one else on the Ouse'll have one and they'll all say "whassatflagden?". And I think the pissed mouse is pretty good anyway so well done H for getting the mouse rolling and well done B1 for something or the other.

And well done me for not waiting for the 100th.

Go on then I\'ll be 98 too...

Anyone spotted the big flaw in this burgeee malarky yet?

Well I have.

See I reckon most of you MoBo'ers actuall fund\pay for your boats through your businesses, 'cos it's ever so tax efficient etc etc.

Now if you buy this flag off H, you ain't gonna get a VAT invoice, so can't claim it back. So going to have to pay for it yourselves.

(See the orders cancel now eh as the penny drops)

What pay for it ourselves? Out of our money??

.... PM to H reads something like

Ahh well, hurumph, hmm err well it's like this hmm hmm suddenly realised we err well hurrumph don't actually have anywhere to err well fly this from hurrumph cough hmmm.
