mail order chandlers Spain

I have found most Spanish chandlers expensive and not too helpful - I have been creating a page on my site - http://www.michaelbriant.com/spain_sailing.htm but thought the antifouling deal Promonautica are offering worth passing on with courier delivery of 6€!

Promonautica.com are an online mail order chandlers in Spain offering very good deals and delivery to anywhere in Spain (your marina) is 6€ by courier 24/48 hours

They have 30% discount on Hemple Antifouling, 25% on fenders, 200€ for life raft servicing and discounts on flares etc

I've moved on to Italy now and expected to pay even more here in Sardinia. However, the local yard offered Hempel Mille NCT at 170 Euro per 2.5l. So actually about the same as Spain as this chandler is about 161,99.

I found an online one in Italy and I think they will send to Spain. No idea how good they are but Hempel Mille NCT was only 106.80 Euro per 2.5l, and I got a further discount to 102 Euro because I ordered other stuff as well.

Delivery from NautiMarket arrived today after a slight delay due to a holiday. Service pretty good and might be worth considering even from Spain.

e.g.
3x 2.5l Hempel Mille NCT € 310.78
Del. mainland Spain € 31.84
Charge for paying via card € 4.42

Total € 347.04

Works out at € 115.68 per 2.5l tin and I think discounted price from Spanish chandlery was still around € 162. Might be worth considering even from Spain. They were also quite happy to send flares after I downloaded a form and emailed the completed version.

Only odd thing is that they don't take credit cards directly, you pay via PayPal.
