Hi, i am looking at the bayliner range and strongly fancy the 4387 model cica 1990
and would appreciate any feedback from members of the forum as to its pedigree
and general behaviour, running costs & reliability of the 250hp hino engines, any
and all comments will be of great interest to me, with thanks.

That wouldn't be the one at York would it?

Dont know anthing about the boat apart from it used to be on Windermere until about 2 or 3 years ago.

Couple of observations:
1. 250hp does not sound a lot for a 43 foot boat. I would have thought 20 knots max' fully loaded. Fine if that's what you expect/ require. Not widely used engines, other than by Bayliner. Would check spares availability.
2. Bearing in mind the perception of Bayliner quality, especially in the 80's and early 90's it seems rather expensive. A similar aged Princess 435 with VP TAMD61A engines (306hp) would not be so very different.

Also check it has a lower helm. not all US flybridge boats do.

Hi Miket, thanks for your information, I will in the course of the next month or so
be looking at other boats in the class that you mention, and will follow up any leads
that may come via the forum, with thanks, rockliner.
