Long term moorings on the canal du midi

a long shot but can anyone advise a marina or port for a long term mooring on the wonderful canal du midi or am i going to find it impossible would you say ? its for an 11 metre boat and basically after a safe location and an attractive port to be able to enjoy just being in the port as well as journeying down to the etang du thau

The only ones I know of are in Toulouse, quite a few liveabords in the port there. There may be other morrings, certainly a poster hereabouts used to be in Castelnaudry, but I couldn't tell you who or what the place was called. This is going back twenty or so years so may be different now,

The late Colin Brown, writer for PBO, kept his boat at Castelnaudary but I think it was wintered ashore. We stopped for a few nights at a marina east of Toulouse, at Carcassonne and at Beziers
