Live aboard yacht, Franchini?

We are looking for a live aboard, preferably already in the Med and have spotted a Franchini 47. I have tried to find out a bit more about Franchini as I have never heard of them and cannot find anything about their yachts from the 70/80's (79). Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this manufacturer? Or any recommendations as to what would make a good live aboard, our budget is about £50k. We want to start in the Med, Greece, as we know the area quite well and we can then make a decision as to whether the live aboard life style really is for us. If it works out for us then we will look to go further afield, dream of doing a circumnavigation but one step at a time.

Any Maramu that is half way decent will go for triple the OP's budget.

There is a cheap one in Trini but the interior is a disaster and there is significant deferred maintenance.

I know this thread is old… but did you end up getting a franchini 47, we are currently looking at one and also can’t find any info, would love any experience anyone has?
