Leg lifting out in reverse

Hi all, after some guidance on the leg on my boat. When I go into reverse it lifts up out the water. Not sure on the make and model of said leg but will attach a photo below

Looks like a Sonic from Sillette.

There is a latch on the leg that hooks onto a bar on the transom shield. This locks when the drive is in reverse with a pin that comes out from the front of the leg when reverse is selected. If the hooks on the latch are worn or the pin is not coming out far enough to lock the latch into place the the leg will kick up. Contact Sillette for parts and maybe a manual.
