You know when you've got that smug feeling after you've just done something that you was told was not possible. Ha! I've got it, well will have tomorrow when I've run the engine up and made sure that there's no coolant leaks!!
Cylinder head is back on. Old bols drilled out, new threads tapped in and cooling system reinstalled! So fingers crossed, the thing wont leak coolant all over the place when it gets run up. MY BOATS COMING TO POOLE

Do you know where youare going to put in yet Barry? You could always use Rockley - all tide and somwhere secure for the car and trailer overnight in the compound.

I'll probably launch at Redcliffe. I get the launching in with the caravan fees. OK so the caravan isn't there at the moment but the slip is, got to get my monies worth! I'll be gonig down on the friday as I'll never get down there launched and be on the quay by 11am on the saturday. So if you see a sad git blasting across the harbour on friday lunchtime'ish, it'll be me. All we've got to hope for is a bit of settled weather, and dry'ish if poss.

We're meeting at Poole Quay, then going for a little blast round to Swanage, if the weather is Ok, and find some eating & drinking establishments. We'll get back to Poole in the afternon, and raid the eating and drinking places there, in the evening.

Not sure we'd want to start a piss up in a brothel. Managed to start one in Wareham, though. Must have boosted the Wareham economy to the tune of 500 quid, that's doubled it this year.
