So really when you look at it, £1.27 a mtr isn't that bad when you get leccy, showers and all the rest of it thrown in. What about access, do they still have that stupid digilock thing that never works and they give you the code on the printed invoice when your leaving your birth!!

So we have the agenda set, the haven is sort of sorted, those in hotels are booked up, tides have been done, my boats almost fixed. the devils a done deal and steve is gonna star in Crossroads 2. But what about he beer. Are we going to get the Bohemian Rhapsody brought in. What of the many pubs on the quay are we going to frequent and are we doing the evening nosebag thing again!!

I feel that the important things are being over looked again. So pub, will it be The Lord Nelson or the Portsmouth Hoy are up the other end in the Slurpin' Toad.

At this moment in time, just coming out the boot of the car, the wife has just come in from shopping with my Rusty Rivet. In poole though, well now thats not an easy answer. Noe I like the beer in the Portsmouth Hoy, but in saying that, Its headbanging stuff! And probably not quiet the pub I would take my kids into in the evening!! Lord Nelson, well nice beer again but the food is not up to the standards that one would expect. Jolly Sailor, ummm lovley beer excellent food, but a bit loud! Slurpin Toad, crap beer, crap food. crap staff, I don't use it. I reckon out the of lot the Jolly Sailor is probably the best. But why you asking me I don't drink and don't frequent pubs!!/forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Well going by my limited knowledge of the pubs of Poole, I'd go for the Jolly Sailor, but then I'm just a lightwieght.

1. 'cos @25 for the night I would rather take the boat back but, now, @ £8 I will clearly utilise Dolphin haven.
Overall I am expecting to have SHMBO and some kids with me in which case we will use the caravan overnight - it has central heating and the boat doesn't! but..........if I am on my own I may well stay over on the boat and keep Col company in the marina -
what am I going to need to connect a household leccy heater to the marinas power (and where do I get one!)
 
Connect with a standard shore power lead, I've got a spare if you need to borrow.

Sounds like I should make one up anyway going forwards - I don't have 'standard shorepower' 'cos I'm just a little fishing boat and my normal berth doesn't have electricity!
Is it basically a blue male bit - wire - normal household female bit?
