OK here's a long shot....

Drive Belt part number for KAD 43 - 3582424
Drive Belt part number for KAD 32 - 861564

Very different part numbers I know, so my first guess is that they're totally different belts.

However someone has a spare belt for sale, he bought it as the drive (circulation) belt for the KAD32 but the part number is 3582424... By any chance are they interchangable?

O Flaherty....You're Irish, right?

OK, I'll give it to you straight. In Sweden, they don't usually give the same parts different numbers /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

My guess, for all it's worth, is, No......

Yeah, I'm Irish. Direct decendent (sp?) of the famous 'Ferocious O' Flahertys' believe it or not (Google it)

Yes my guess is that they don't fit, I just don't know why a shop sold someone a drive belt for a KAD 43 when he asked for a drive belt for a KAD 32.... bold shop!

Hmmm...possibly a part number being supersceded?

Worth asking a Volvo dealer, it's the only thing they probably won't charge you too much for. The advice, that is!

Mind you, if it fits a D3 160, I'll have it off ya!

I only guessed you were Irish from the accent by the way. It's a strong one isn't it? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Arh, feck arse drink girls!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

No real Volvo dealers in this country TBH, only place i'd find info is online. I *could* imagine them being the same belt as the drive belt would be pretty similar I would have thought... maybe someone might know

Feckoff SV you know i'm still recovering from the Famine /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gonna play it safe and not bother with that particular belt. Gonna keep a full set of spare belt's on the boat to be safe, rumour has it these things eat themselves

make sure you don't throw away them tights when you're finished with them.

You need at least 15 denier to run the supercharger - Father Crilly told me /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Off to the boat now, toodle pip /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
