Just loaded a new video on YouTube. It includes some heavy weather sailing.

The amount I have learnt creating the few videos already loaded on YouTube will certainly ensure the series of videos planned for my Round Britian Trip will be even better. There will be lots of extra information and views of the places I will be visiting. There will be no music as I feel it is unneccessary on a sailing video. So keep watching.

Thank you for sharing -will you be investing in a drone to film from aloft?
I have considered it, but decided it would need too much time to master it to obtain the quality of shots I would want. Having just bought a TopClimber, you will just have to accept views from the top of the mast (may be not whilst sailing!).

I’m afraid I have no idea how long it takes to master but I guess there might be other forumites along soon who can tell us . It just seemed like a great way to capture a few shots of the harbours visited except perhaps Portsmouth etc who don’t favour them with our grey funnel line parked up.

A couple of shots really show the shape advantage of a full battened mainsail, (iook about 3min 07 and 6min 15). I sometimes cursed the extra work a full battened mainsail gave me on Mary Lou, but I really would not have wanted anything else.
