iPod

Now that the time for buying Christmas presents is over (or it should be...) has anyone actually been able to get hold of a 20GB iPod? If so, i would greatly appreciate any advice on how to get hold of one sharpish because everywhere i look, theyre all sold out! Has anyone ever bought one off ebay actually? Its bedlam! Hope you all had a good Christmas, happy new year, fair winds....etc, etc.... thanks!

My brother bought one for my sister in law a week b4 xmas.

He uses i more than she does, was lisening to jingles on it tuned through an fm radio.

Will ask him tomorrow where he got his altho he did tell me I cant remember.

I bought via e-bay - took 2 weeks as it came from US although the site implied it was British. Works graet though. I'd actually buy direct from the US next time.
If using a windows PC rather than Mac, make sure you use the firewire connection if you can as the USB link can give problems.

Is your USB link version 1 or 2, as this may be the problem. I would be surprised if the Ipod could manage over the older version 1.
