I know someone who took delivery of one last month. They might know one end of a bit of wood from another but they don't seem to know the basics of sealing windows or to join the wood together without gaps or various other niggling things that has gone wrong so far. There is also vast areas of fibreglass that shouldn't be visible on a boat of this price and I suspect the cost is great not because of great quality but simply because the boat isn't made on a production line. I'd stick to Bavaria - now there's quality for you ! You could buy at least 2 of them for the price of the Southerly , sail one and keep the other for spares !!!!!!!!
