sorry and all that... and i know it's late.... and yep iv'e been to the pub (for about 25mins) but coming in when all is quiet, reminds me of the good times we used to have.

when people such as me asked stupid questions... only to be put in our place by, and informed by, his royal highness BYRON.

it has been noted that of late the old feller has abandoned the forum (why i don't know.... so i lie!) but he is missed by me and others like me.

it'd be nice to see him back, with that unadulterated wit and straight forward honesty, that so many of us appreciate.

so what about it?

can we not now put the "bad times" behind us and start to rebuild what we had before?

please invite him back. it's not the same without him...

i'm not looking for a gigantic post, but i feel it's time to take a step back and look at what made this forum work so well. for me it was people like byron, and long may they serve to provide inspiration to oics like me.

i thank you...... steve.

Firefighting

Do we really need someone like Byron who knows nuthin about boats, not sure he's ever been on one. The fact he owns half of the Thames has nowt to do with it!
Now if we could bring on his herrobenguppenfuhrer it would be a different story!!

And where's his mate Syd???

I miss him too. In fact a couple of weeks ago I even had a dream about him. This is particularly strange as I've never even met him!

Now look what you've done - caused me to flood my laptop with tears /forums/images/icons/blush.gif. Will it be ruined and what is the best way to dry it out?
Atleast I won't need any saccharin this week having read your post. Ah, here comes Kate Winslett to start me off again..

Come on keep up - He is back and made a posting only a day or so ago about getting a signwriter to change the name of his boat.

Whether its a fleeting visit or the start of something more wonderful - only time will tell.

but I do agree with yr comments - he helped me choose my Kelisha - aaaaaaaahhhhh i hear you all say.

You were trying to hold my hand last Saturday at Philistine Court and you asked me to dance.
