Well my boat is still up for sale!

Had One good offer and accepted it but the guy needs to raise the money! Fair enough I have the boat to use in the summer, not a problem.I also agreed with him that I will keep boat on market and let him know if there are any developments.

An other guy is interested! Good, Spoke to him this morning and we agreed for him to come down on Saturday and take a look!

I get a phone call about half an hour ago from swmbo that some one is on my boat!

Do you believe this guy? He was in the area? And brought a mate to see it!

I sent him away!

Tom

Re: Phantom Buyer?

Could you possibly offer an extended service whereby the phantom buyer agrees to buy the boat on the condition that it is fitted with a new cruising chute and autopilot, before calling the deal off?

I can get so cross ! do they not realise how much we love our boats ?

When I was looking at boats in Spain i did ask to stay aboard a boat but with permission ! I did look after it , it was a really nice way to find out what does work ?

"You think that's bad. When I sold my last boat I had a 5% deposit from the purchaser and I found out that he took the boat out.....FOR THE WEEKEND!, no permission, no request....ggrrrrrrr! "

Who on earth gave him the keys to a boat he didn't own...!!??? Presumably someone who's now out of a job!??
