Racing Folkboats don't have guardrails etc. Not in the rules.
He thoroughly enjoys his racing.

Yes he is! ........... creeping disability requires all lines led to cockpit, wheel steering and preferably in-mast main .... or a motor boat! (wash my mouth out with soap!)

lovely boats. I was very tempted by the 'old' 31 and 33 before i finally came to my decision. i still occasionally look longingly at the saffier website
