Opposite At Haversham SC at Milton Keynes they shut the flood gates to protect Bedford down river.. and the water level Entire flood plain that the SC is on suddenly rises by up to 5ft.. no warning either.. which is why all the dinghies there are tied down with drains open or drains closed with mooring ropes that allow the dinghies to rise and fall on their land mooring..
