And if you're including Ramsgate as on the East Coast then Royal Cinque Ports YC at Dover
-----------------------------------------------------------------

In that case let's go a little further round the corner and include FYMBC - Folkestone Yacht and Motorboat Club - do we stop when we get to Penzance?

I belong/belonged to:
Herne Bay Sailing Club
Westbere Frostbite Sailing Association (not quite on the coast but surely counts)
Whitstable Yacht Club
Hollowshore Cruising Club (OK it's been mentioned before but I'm a club ossifer there, for heavens sake).
And nearby, but never belonged to them:
Hampton Pier Yacht Club
Seasalter Sailing Club
Minnis Bay Sailing Club

Don't forget those clubs and associations that are national. They may not have club houses on the East Coast but they are active here.

Royal Naval Sailing Association
Royal Cruising Club

not a member but also the
Little Ship Club

Also the Cruising Association and

Halfway closed when they built the hotel – many members moved to Thorpe Bay. Leigh Motor Boat Club is the one by Two Tree Island. You forgot the premier club along the foreshore – Belton Hills Small Craft Club (that’s the small hut at the end of cockle row).
