The boat I'm buying has been out of the water for 6 months at least, is the anti foul still ok or would it need a fresh coat?
I think that's a bit long... Depends on the brand but afaik around 12 weeks is about the limit
That seems to be the usual answer but why does time ashore with a dry hull reduce the effectiveness of the antifoul?

With Coppercoat its infinite. The orhers vary. But whilsts its out its daft not to slap another coat or 2 on.
