Open a photobucket account, and upload your picture to photobucket.
Once the picture is uploaded to photobucket, you'll see a 'thumbnail' picture of it. Below it, go to the url that says IMG, and click on the code. It will copy automatically.
Then come here to ybw, open the text box as normal, then put your cursor where you want the picture to go, and press CTRL and V at the same time, and it will paste the code into the text box.

It's not exactly difficult to press CTRL C if auto copy ain't working
[/ QUOTE ] True but if someone is following the instructions they suddenly find it doesn't work! Personally I can never remember those short cuts! Always highlight, right click etc.
Looks as though Photobucket have solved the problem ...... by completely dumping the Autocopy feature!
They haven't dumped it, I've just tried it, and it's still working. Just downloading the very latest version of Flash to see if autocopy stops working.
Now you say it works for you despite that! ????????? Why does it work for you when P'bucket says it doesn't?
I did see the yellow "copied" message, like others, even though it was not copying but I am not seeing that this evening so assumed P'bucket had disabled the whole thing.
And it def does copy, as I clicked on a new picture IMG, and pasted it here and previewed, and it worked. Flash was downloaded this evening, so is the very latest version from Adobe site.
POssibly, though a host of other setup configurations could be at fault for those that have had issues, as I've had none, with any verion of flash, and I usually have the latest update, and use photobucket continually
I dont know what version of Flash player I had previously but I had the trouble with P'bucket after downloading the new version a few weeks ago, as did other people.
I really dismissed the matter after P'bucket said what the trouble was and went back to the time honoured manual method, but decided to mention it in this thread as I felt if someone new to P'bucket stumbled into it they be stumped.
I still dont undersatnd why you dont have a problem that P'bucket acknowledges exists.
You're not using Vista are you. Is it possible that it is only blocking the autocopy onto a Vista Clipboard?
XP, though I've made many manual changes to IE security settings, and it is nothing like bog standard settings most will use. I'm not even sure what changes I've made over the years.
