Hi

Has anybody tried this Australian hot water system? Sounds useful, Saw it on ebay £138.00 plus postage (£94.0).

A hot shower wherever, whenever

That’s how simple Joolca HOTTAP makes it. No need for a power connection. No need for a plumber. No inbuilt proprietary battery or pump to worry about.

The world’s smallest LPG water heater in its class, HOTTAP only requires a couple of standard D-cell batteries and accepts water from any source: garden hose, low-voltage pump, header tank – whatever you’ve got available. What’s more, it’s ridiculously easy to set up. Connect water in. Connect water out. Connect gas. Done.

You just got yourself an en suite at the Back O’Bourke. Sound good? Order your Joolca HOTTAP today and you can literally be in flow wherever you go!

Had to look it up on Google as your link (if any) did not show up.

But it seems to be targeted to be used outdoors as the combustion fumes will need to go somewhere. Inside a boat I would consider this device very dangerous.
For the outback, it may be very convenient.
