Let's do a Sherlock Holmes

1. It's looking up the inside of a Tower
2. The stained glass suggests that it's a Church Tower
3. The timber jointing looks like Dutch work
4. It's probably near a marina (you're a yachtsman)
5. It's quite modern

And there I run out of ideas

Sherlock - he said earlier it was in Spain.

He went on hols there two years back.
IIRC - the NW corner of Spain - La Coruña would be my next guess, or Santander. Anyway, somewhere NW Spain where budget airlines fly to.
