How predictable you lot are. I could list who wil join in next to add further insults. Its the same old minority. You don't even know your doing it. Witch hunt and more and more will join in with nothing to add but insults. why bother ?

Are you referring to the poster who appeared under a new username, threw insults at everybody and then vanished again or to the people who pointed this out?

Funnily enough I was thinking this as I read his rant... I think the powers that be need to do something to verify identities to prevent resurrections or multiple accounts...

For the record I believe all of his legal advice to be fundamentally flawed and as I said earlier is likely to rachet things up.

Anyone taking 'legal' advice from this thread needs their head examining. This thread should be used as inspiration for what to fact check and ensure that they are doing what is relevant from them.

If YBW tries to go down the route of verifying identities more people will walk away. Me personally, I'll just find a way around them. There are a couple of things that YBW can do, but they can't even be bothered to sort out their add problem. Keeping a couple of members from returning I imagine would be further down their priorities.

I agree with Hallberg-Rassy (and not just because his name sounds like a law firm). We should support a forumite when they feel they have been stiffed, I’ve been quite surprised that when I have come to the forum looking for support in a dispute how little positive backing I got. Of course I have absolutely no idea if the OP has a legal leg to stand on

You've got a problem when you have members like Poecheng or RichardS who don't realise the narrow limits of their knowledge or how they look at the world, and don't like or can't take having it pointed out.

Approaching legal disputes, there are three separate aspects;

a) understanding the law and legal procedures,​

b) understanding solicitors and how they work, and​

c) knowing how to use them within a bigger strategy.​

Relative to this example, I'm speaking from experience of all three in a practical dispute that was resolved much to my own benefit.

Regardless of one's status, education, or professional experience, society is full of people with fairly basic, transparent and predictable tendencies; the suppressives, the submissive, those who buck trends etc. However you might want to define them.

To those who write, "you can't do that", I don't just reply, "watch me", I can say quite honesty & accurately, "I have".

For a fact, I paid for my last boat and a bit through a legal dispute that I won; without a solicitor, against a team of solicitors for a hell of a less investment than it would have taken me to earn it. I mean, probably 1/100th.

Last time I looked court awards were also still tax free. I recommend them.

A few useful tips, if you don't like the advice a solicitor give you, go ask another until you get advice that fits within your overall strategy. Go use your "half-an-hour" free consultancies to gain as much overview as possible. Bear in mind that most solicitors are equally likely to act on behalf of your opposing party (only a few are victim only) and that many will be autocratic, conservative, suppressives who will tend to back the established party by nature too.

Cops? I genuinely think they are getting better the more diverse they become but not by much. I would not take legal advice from one, unless it was about how to break the law or they went bent.
