Hiya Mike,
The AQD32's are based on a Peugeot engine. They stopped making these engines back in 1978 so major spares, especially fresh water circulating pumps, cylinder heads and oil pumps are about as easy to find as rocking horse poo. Volspec and Keypart can supply you with smaller bits like gaskets and seals but even these are becoming more expensive as they get scarce.
I had a pair of AQD's in a Princess for three years and found them very strong and reliable, well maintained of course, but they are getting old. I located a complete spare engine and used that for parts when required. I suggest you have a phone around dealers and repairers to get an idea of the current availability before committing yourself.
Cheers now.
Syd
