I'm trying to help a friend get a 'budget' boat sorted.
He has an ST3000 and it's packed up. We seem to have an electrical supply and fuse is o.k. but no life at all in the panel etc.

I'm about to ask Raymarine if they would check it out and at what price, but is there anyone in the Portsmouth area that has one and would help by plugging his unit in to see if it it operates at all?

I know the ST3000 is long in the tooth but if we can get it up and running it would be a great help.
If others could advise it would be a great help too. Unfortunatly the boat is abroad and the unit is with me in the U.K.

thanks
S.

Raymarine will test it for you if you take it in, you would still get a choice of whether you want to pay and have it fixed, I have the ST1000 and I would be happy to let you test yours but I dont have the wheel pilot type.

I have had bothe the AH3000 (analogue predecessor) and a ST3000 repaired by Raymarine at Portsmouth. Costs were reasonable, and they will do a tear down and estimate (for a fee)
