Have sent me a love letter.

Apparently I wasa doing 36mph in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

:o

I will now have to do a course to teach me the error of my ways...so it goes! :(

I am surprised you were caught in LlanfairPG. Blink and you could miss it?

When you get re-educated make sure you pig out on tea and biccies as they cost you £60:D

No points is a bonus though.:)

A little faster and you might not have had the option of speed awareness course. How do I know?

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch

Was it on .......

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch Road or...

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch Avenue. :)

Now that has to be a claim to fame speeding in the Uks town with the longest name :)

Tom.

Not sure that it qualifies as a town...it's not as long as its name!

Was 'shot' just down the road from Kwacker's gaff...wonder if he shopped me?

As this is a boating forum I assume that you have an amphibian.

Should have gone to court Robin, no-one would convict you of wanting to get out of there as quickly as possible. Or were you tyring to get to Pringles before the pensioners?

Clear orf, 25931 this is the official N Wales forum. :D

Anyway, you are just a number, what makes you think you count? :p

Beautifull weather yesterday fer me man doing nav training an stuff.
But hazy and vis was poor
Did Dinorwic to Rhyl and back in under three hours inc having a cuppa in Rhyl yacht club!
46 nautical covered inc speed limit at PD
The windfarms where spectacularly loomin out of the mist from time to time
Great Orme was not visible from Puffin!
Fast nav, poor vis
Who said Moboing is boring;)

Kwacka,

How is going nowhere fast on a mobo more entertaining than going nowhere fast in a raggie? All you need to do is hold tight, squint into the spray & prey you don't find any pots, giant bales of hay, planks, swamped containers etc etc etc. And where do you end up? In Rhyl, former playground of the great unwashed & now quietly retreating to the mud from whence it grew. The public money spent there only seems to have made the bloomin' place look worse than ever. At least Victorian ruins have a certain grace - modern ones just look awful.

Whereas, in my yacht, I balance the winds & tides constantly in a battle of wits to best utilise nature's twin bounties. I am busy with leaches & luffs, sheets, topping lifts, kicking straps & halliards, tell-tales, wheel, the wind on my cheek, the strength & direction of tide, and yet never leave the safety & beauty of the PD speed limit until the tide changes in my favour. I can easily spend 3 hours heading to Caernarfon & love every minute - oh & it doesn't cost a penny in fuel AND I can make my own coffee with a wee stiffener in it too.

Nope, sorry, not jealous at all. But I do wish I was able to be on the water more often.
