Has anyone fitted a K&N type air filter to a TAMD71B?

Just wondered if it's a viable thing to do, or is it not practicle,does it affect the fueling etc.
At the moment it's standard with a couple of panel filters.

If you can get one the right size it would work as a filter, but you won't get any performance advantage from it.

Thanks, not worried about performance but would prefer a sock type.

I did it on 61a using K&N and defo improved pickup. The oe air boxes are pretty restrictive.

Getting closer - another coupe of months and then we think we can buy the boat and start the preperation for the big escape later this year......
