Sorry, can't come for next few days. Text me if you need more bodies - could join ship at Lisbon or Oporto?

Those weather charts you mention are the best imho. Made by germans, natch. I have looked at them till late next week and weather looks excellent. Remeeber the degrees of latitude curves on the isobar spacing (top left of chart), so for a given windspeed the isobar spacing in the med only needs to half what is needed in the solent, but even alowing for that the wevver looks excellent till mid next week. So go now!

I can load you the full CMap chart set onto a laptop if that helps? But you have to nav with a lap top and a hh gps plugged into the com1 port. You would only have the abckground basemap on the furuno. Would do? Only place for charts in C London is Cactus in Curzon street but unlikely they can supply the (funny) furuno ones in a couple of hours, eek

Try Cap'n O M Watts, chandlers in Dover St, London 02074934633. They usually carry a good range of paper charts but I dunno about the Furuno chips.
V sorry I could'nt put my name forward for crew duties due to business commitments. Dead jealous of those doing the trip

The AA do a nice map of France which covers Biscay and the west french coast in enough detail .. if I were you I'd just keep the coast about 15 miles to the right and after about 600 miles hang a left, hope that helps
