For years now I've been looking for a detachable clip to hang fenders off the guard rail, so that SWMBO can easily detach and store them, as well has having easy height adjustment.

Well, on a side stand at Excel, I've found the perfect solution.

They are called "Fend-Fix", made by a Swedish company called Aronowitsch & Lyth AB. Moulded in what looks like white Nylon, with a hole for a 8mm rope, a barbed catch to clip over the rail, and a self jamming recess for the rope.

It is brilliant, and cost me £25 for 3 packs of 2. They also do a version for guard wires as well.

They are going to save SWMBO a lot of time- got to keep her happy.

Yes, My wife and i saw them as well, They did look very good, and the guy seem to demonstrate them with ease.
My wife wanted me to get some, but i said lets look around the rest of the show first, and needless to say we never made it back to get them.
I now wish i had.

I've tried looking on the net for them, but to no avail. Do you have a contact for them.

Cheers.

Alistair..

Pots & kettles

You mean it's a bit like these IT anoraks who put stupid little cartoons on their postings.
Get a life Barry.
Sell your boat with it's engines, navaids etc and get a rowing boat, and maybe you'll be so tired, you won't be so grumpy.
