Fitting EGT probes+gauges to diesel (MAN) engines

Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge Kit, 1/4" NPT (EGT)

I will speak with these people tomorrow and see if they do a longer lead, I didn’t want 4 x gauges on the dash but it looks like I have no option, these are 12 volt only ………not sure where I will get that from as everything is 24 volt.

porto’s option is too expensive and I’m not shipping from us.
multi input thermocouple gauges exist. You could just have one and flick through the readings periodically to check all is well.

How about

Looks from the pics like its 3 sections. Gauge, sensor and intermediate harness. The intermediate harness looks like std wire so could be lengthened.

That was just an indicative illustration for Vas , to show pyro probes for diesel exhausts are out there as opposed to water temp alarms used on plastic / rubber exhaust hoses .

You need to do your own research / due diligence etc ……see my post #69 for a quad gauge on one dial on a twin V MAN boat of the same generation as yours .

looks OK, just a bit cheap it seems.
Mind, the thermistor thingie costs 5-10usd from China (that's what I have on board)
